The Baboons of Gombe is mastered from a 16mm print which has seen better days. The image is sharp, but
appears dated. Further, there are several spots where there are noticeable pieces of film missing. That aside,
there appear to be no significant breaks in the audio which would indicate the narration was added after the footage
was lost or removed. The audio transfer is typical of the 16mm educational titles, tending to stay out of the
upper and lower frequency ranges.
